RE: Buffing 34ft Coach

It's a bigger project than you think. I did my 32' coach and it took me 4 days. Of course I move a little slower since back surgery. I had major oxidation and when I was finished,,I had a new looking coach. It takes patience, time and the right way to do it. Let me know if you need to know how I did it. You will need a buffer,3M compoung @ $35.00 a bottle, yellow foam pad for buffer, spray bottle and dish soap. I wish I knew how to post pics here,I coud show you the difference.

RE: RV Cover.... Help me select one for Paintballs !!

And then you have a painted cover. I'd do the best thing, and pay to park in a safe place. Just my thought.

RE: My first Class A

Be sure to check your local tow laws to see if you need a dolly with brakes and a breakaway switch. Alot of states are getting real strict on toads.

RE: Delamination Adhesive Question

I fixed some delam on a 5th wheel I used to own,,,I couldn't wait to sell it. If you have 1/4" lauon and it's rotted,,it will need to be replaced. I used commersial contact cement to place the fiberglass back on after sanding it real good. I had a spot that was 3'x7' on the bottom,so it was easy. If you have spots in the middle of the wall,,,good luck. You will be de-skining the whole side and don't break the fiberglass. I think once you get into it,,you may take the others advice. BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YA GOT.

RE: Which Polish

I have a 94 Georgie Boy and have some experience with auto paint. My coach had a ton of oxidation and tried a couple of things like Mothers,Mcguires polishes. Well they didn't work. I used 3M fine polish, about $35 a bottle, make sure it's for light colors, and applied it with a waxing pad in a circular motion. Next take some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray that over the polish. If you don't have a buffer,do a small area at a time, and polish the gelcoat. I used a buffer at 1800rpm and got almost a mirror finish. Way better than factory. Be careful not to apply any wax or polish in direct sunlite. It needs to be cool. Use Mcguires Quik Detail after your polish and man what a difference. Took me,an ol' cripple,,3 days, but never thought it would look so good. I hope this will help. Let me know if you have problems.

RE: Leaning Motorhome

I would have your srpings looked at before you do any traveling. That's not the way it should be and could be very dangerous. Don't take chances. I had a air bag blow out and know a leaning coach is no fun to drive.I had to release the air from the other one to get home. I replaced them and all is fine.

RE: Shocks

If you have a coil spring front suspension, then you may try a set of Air-Lift air bags that fit inside the spring. They install through the 1 1/2" hole on the lower control arm. I just installed a new set on my 32 Georgie Boy,,man what a difference.
